Beach-themed weddings can be a lot of fun. To add to the fun, you’ll need some great beach wedding songs. These songs will help set the tone of the wedding and give your wedding a relaxed, beachy, nautical feel.

But remember, it’s not just the songs that help set the tone, it’s also the instruments. For a beach wedding, you’ll want instruments with a distinctive tropical, Caribbean, Hawaiian or surf-rock feel.

Somewhere Over the Rainbow/What a Wonderful World is a medley of Judy Garland’s Somewhere Over the Rainbow and Louis Armstrong’s What a Wonderful World performed on ukulele by Hawaiian musician Israel Kamakawiwo’ole. Released on Kamakawiwo’ole’s 1993 album, Facing Future, the song became a hit in the United States in January of 2004 and has been featured in numerous t.v. shows and movies, such as E.R., Charmed, Scrubs, 50 First Dates and Finding Forrester.

Sleep Walk is an instrumental song written and performed by Johnny and Santo Farina. Released on the Farina’s 1959 album, Santo & Johnny, the song became a number one hit in the United States in September of 1959.

Better Together is a song written and performed by Jack Johnson. The song was released on Jack Johnson’s 2005 album, In Between Dreams.

Ke Kali Nei Au (Hawaiian Wedding Song) – Charles E. King
Hawaiian Wedding Song was written by Charles E. King in 1926. In 1959, Andy Williams recorded and released his version of the song, which became a hit in the United States. The song has since been recorded by many other artists including Elvis for a wedding scene in his 1961 film Blue Hawaii.

Into the Mystic – Van Morrison
Into the Mystic is a song written and performed by Van Morrison. Released on Morrison’s 1970 album, Moondance, the song was listed on Rolling Stones Magazine’s list of The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time and has been featured in numerous movies, including the 2003 film American Wedding in which the song was played as the main character’s first dance as a married couple.
